Крымский хан Шагин Гирей на страницах зарубежной научной литературы

Исследование представляет собой комплексный анализ репрезентации фигуры последнего крымского хана Шагин Гирея (1745–1787 гг.) в зарубежной (османской, западноевропейской, американской) историографии. Работа охватывает значительный хронологический период – от современников событий второй половины XVIII века до научных трудов начала XXI века – и выявляет ключевые модели зарубежных взглядов, их трансформацию и политическую обусловленность. Важным достижением зарубежных исследователей является рассмотрение фигуры Шагин Гирея в более широком контексте. Его судьба анализируется сквозь призму кризиса османской модели управления. Проведенный анализ зарубежной научной литературы позволяет сделать ряд выводов, характеризующих основные тенденции и исследовательские подходы в зарубежной историографии.
