Социальное измерение комедий Менандра в зарубежной историографии

В статье представлен комплексный анализ достижений зарубежных исследователей в изучении творчества Менандра и прослеживается эволюция подходов и расширение проблемного поля менандроведения с конца 1960-х годов по настоящее время. Авторы анализируют тематику научных работ и выявляют динамику от интерпретации комедий Менандра как преимущественно литературных сочинений и текстологических источников к признанию за ними самостоятельной ценности для реконструкции социальных отношений и институтов. Авторы показывают, что методологический поиск привёл к оформлению собственно исторического взгляда: комедии Менандра стали рассматриваться как полноценный многомерный источник по брачным стратегиям, имущественным отношениям и социально-политическому контексту эпохи. Междисциплинарный уровень менандроведения позволил интегрировать изучение рабства, насилия и женской солидарности в контекст социальных связей и сетевого взаимодействия в рамках исторической антропологии. Выявлены социальные аспекты гендерного подхода. Сделан вывод об углублении традиционных тем на современном этапе и смещении фокуса на имплицитные смыслы в рамках истории эмоций, имагологии и истории ментальностей.
