The Relationship between the Authorities and the Indigenous Peoples of Yakutia in Socio-Spatial Projections and Literary Images

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of reflecting the relations between the government and the indigenous peoples of Yakutia in the works of Yakut writers. In particular, it provides an analysis of the tools used to interpret key events and the methods of creating artistic images. According to the authors, these literary texts attempt to address the issues of self-determination of the people and their relationship with the government. Through the use of allegory, the writers sought to shape a certain public opinion among the educated segments of the indigenous population of Yakutia. The results of the study are intended to determine the role of literary texts in the formation of ethnic identity. The authors conclude that representatives of the national intelligentsia of the early 20th century offered socio-political projections through literary works and narratives of oral folk art. Having influenced the formation of identity and the ethnic picture of the world, they were subjected to new interpretations and became a catalyst for further political activity. The study of cognitive strategies of the past makes it possible to identify the specifics of the formation of public opinion in the modern period.
