Challenges for BRICS in the 21st Century and Methods of their Settlement

The scientific study aims to consider the problem of BRICS development through a system of challenges understood as a complex contradiction between the participants of this association due to different projections of the final result in the modern world order. The author formulates the concept of challenges faces by BRICS member states in the 21st century, dividing them into conceptual, interstate and economic ones. Overcoming the conceptual challenge is possible through the creation of a single document that will declare the agreed goals, methods and principles of the association. The economic challenge should be resolved through the creation of joint goals and solving problems in a specific region. Systematic work to eliminate existing challenges will ultimately lead to the creation of a single regulatory framework, where all mechanisms will be spelt out in detail.
