Discussions on the immigrants and their inclusion in the host society are still relevant because of the increased migration flows from the Global South countries to the Global North ones. The purpose of this article is to identify the features of immigrant integration policies in the Scandinavian countries. The theoretical framework of the study is Rational choice institutionalism which holds that actors are rational decision-makers. The author uses historical-genetic and comparative methods to examine the cases of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. All the cases demonstrate the transformation of the party-political landscape and the strengthening of anti-immigrant rhetoric. It indicates a civic turn in immigrant integration policies in the Scandinavian countries.
